Finding out what it means to be Boricua through a genetic & genealogical journey through my family history
I usually post about a Finding Your Roots episode after it comes out but I’m SUPER excited for this one! This Sunday will feature both Michelle Rodriguez and Adrian Grenier. I’m excited to see Michelle’s family tree because one of her sides is Puerto Rican!! I can’t wait to see what they discover, where her

I haven’t been posting really that much since I’ve gotten back to school with all the work and all but this is something worth blogging about! So today at the wee hours of the morning I was searching for the death certificate of my great aunt, Luz Lilliame Correa Miranda. I knew that she only lived to be about 4-5 years old and lived in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I started searching from July 1950 backwards and once I hit March

I will continue with the Antonetti family except going forward and how they helped me find my elusive great grandfather in the 1930 Census. Francisco and Luisa never seemed to live together. Neither on the 1910, 1920 1930 Census did they live in the same household, though Francisco Antonetti does recognize in the 1910 Census

When researching your family, I think it’s important to research other branches that have married in. Each of them can carry a unique story that adds to your overall ancestry and can give you more of an insight to how your family and their siblings lived. The family I’m going to focus on today is
